The Company directors, Phil Higgs and Lee Massey both completed Carpentry apprenticeships with respected local companies in South Somerset. They gained a wealth of experience before deciding that what they really wanted was to start and run their own business. This then led to the creation of HM Construction.
Thanks to Lee and Phil’s drive & passion for building high-quality homes and buildings we have had the privilege of working on some incredible projects. We’ve received recognition for our work in the form of LABC awards and having projects featured in the TRADA annual and other national publications but the greatest recognition remains happy clients.
We are proud that our director Phil is an Associate of the Chartered institute of building and is working hard to find the time to become a full member! This means he has demonstrated that he is a dedicated construction professional and has agreed to operate under the rules of the Charter. The aim is to eventually gain Chartered company status.
